Organizational, Guidance Efforts Accompany Pilgrims' Arrival in Madinah

Groups of pilgrims have begun arriving in Madinah at the start of their journey to perform Hajj this year, amid extensive efforts by various relevant authorities to serve visitors and pilgrims and ensure their smooth and comfortable arrival at their accommodations.
Today, scenes showed several pilgrims settling into their hotels in Madinah's central area and heading to perform prayers at the Prophet's Mosque, surrounded by a sense of peace and tranquility. Their experience is supported by numerous organizational and guidance services provided by the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. These efforts include preparing the mosque and surrounding courtyards to receive pilgrims, intensifying cleaning, sanitization, and fragrance works before and after each prayer, carpeting the mosque and its courtyards, washing and opening the umbrellas during the daytime to protect worshippers from the sun, and regulating access to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah based on pre-booked appointments through the Nusuk app.
The reception phase in Madinah focuses on managing arrivals at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and land entry points such as the Haramain High-Speed Railway station, Hijrah Road, Tabuk–Madinah Road, and Qassim–Madinah Highway. Efforts include streamlining arrival procedures, using advanced technologies to record the number and data of incoming pilgrims, facilitating their transfer to accommodations, and conducting field checks on the efficiency of pilgrim grouping schedules from the airport to their residences, under the supervision of the Pilgrims Housing Committee in Madinah.
Pilgrims are accompanied by various awareness, guidance, and healthcare services to help them complete their journey easily and comfortably. This includes preparing healthcare facilities in the central area with medical teams, equipment, and staff to serve pilgrims of all nationalities, providing necessary medical care, and launching awareness campaigns and workshops in medical and emergency care. These efforts aim at training medical teams serving with Hajj missions, in hotels, and at pilgrim housing facilities to ensure the best services and enable pilgrims to perform their rituals smoothly and safely.
