Winds of Peace 2026 Exercise Kicks Off in Oman with Participation of Saudi and Omani Naval Forces

The mixed bilateral naval exercise “Winds of Peace 2026” commenced in the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Royal Navy of Oman, as part of efforts to enhance military cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

 Commander of the exercise Naval Brigadier General Staff Mohammed Al-Otaibi stated that “Winds of Peace 2026” aims to exchange expertise in naval operations and maritime security, unify concepts related to preparation, planning, and execution, and strengthen the role of both navies in monitoring and protecting maritime navigation routes, thereby enhancing maritime security.
