Fashion Commission and Four Directions Company Sign MoU to Launch “Fashion District” at The Real Estate Future Forum
The Saudi Fashion Commission has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Four Directions Real Estate Development Company, on the sidelines of the fifth edition of the Real Estate Future Forum, in a strategic move aimed at launching the Fashion District as an integrated destination dedicated to the fashion sector. The initiative seeks to empower creative industries and further strengthen Riyadh’s position as a regional and global hub for the cultural economy.
The Fashion District represents a strategic project designed to develop a comprehensive ecosystem covering the entire fashion value chain, from design and production to retail and talent development. The district will include world-class fashion show venues, design and creative production studios, brand incubators, as well as hospitality facilities and workspaces. The visionary project is intended to attract investment and align with the local and international growth of the fashion sector.
Commenting on the announcement, Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, stated:
““Fashion District is not simply an urban development project. It is an integrated ecosystem that supports the fashion value chain, opens new opportunities for creativity and investment, and reinforces Riyadh’s position as a global hub for the creative economy.” - Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission
For his part, Mohammed Al-Zaraa, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Four Directions Real Estate Development Company, emphasized that the partnership reflects the company’s vision of developing urban destinations with high economic and cultural value, stating:
“The MoU with the Fashion Commission stems from our belief in transforming culture into a sustainable industry and delivering landmark projects that support the creative economy, while elevating Riyadh’s status as a global city for culture and innovation.”
This collaboration builds on the Fashion Commission’s ongoing efforts as a key driver of investment and partnerships within Saudi Arabia’s fashion sector, through launching high-impact initiatives that foster a supportive environment for growth. The Commission aims to enhance cooperation with local and international stakeholders to develop economic and cultural ecosystems that promote innovation and expand opportunities in education and training, while providing platforms for fashion and design. As part of this approach, the Commission is working to attract investments that contribute to establishing integrated infrastructure and encourage collaboration between designers, global and local companies, universities, and cultural institutions. In order to further solidify Riyadh’s position as a leading global hub for the fashion industry.
It is worth noting that Four Directions Company is participating as a Platinum Sponsor of the Real Estate Future Forum 2026, where it is showcasing its vision for developing high-quality projects centered on quality of life, culture, and future-forward design inspired by the Kingdom’s national architectural identity, in line with Saudi Arabia’s comprehensive urban transformation.
