Ministry of Health Launches Campaign to Ensure Accuracy of Expatriate Medical Examinations
The Ministry of Health has launched a campaign to ensure the reliability of medical examinations for expatriate workers, aiming to enhance healthcare quality, ensure the accuracy of medical examination results, strengthen compliance with approved health regulations, and protect public health.
The campaign focuses on verifying adherence to approved examination procedures, ensuring the use of calibrated and properly maintained laboratory equipment, confirming the competency of technical staff, and preventing any practices that may compromise the integrity of examination results.
Violations may result in fines of up to SAR100,000, closure of the healthcare facility for up to 60 days, or license revocation. The ministry affirmed its ongoing oversight efforts to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards and safeguard public health.
