IMCTC Hosts Nigerian Defense Delegation
Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Major Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi welcomed here today Chief of Defense Intelligence for the Federal Republic of Nigeria Major Gen. EAP Undiandeye and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed IMCTC’s progress and achievements in combating terrorism, emphasizing the coalition’s pivotal role in fostering collaboration and strengthening joint efforts among member states to address terrorism in all its forms.
Undiandeye commended IMCTC’s strategic and coordinated approach to supporting member states, highlighting the importance of addressing terrorism through a comprehensive framework that considers intellectual and psychological dimensions. He expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s continued and generous support as the host nation of IMCTC, describing it as a global model for countering extremism and promoting security and stability.
Al-Moghedi acknowledged Nigeria’s commitment to international security cooperation and highlighted its role as a founding member of IMCTC. He reiterated the coalition’s dedication to advancing its strategic initiatives, training programs, and the Sahel Countries Program, which aims to enhance the military and civilian capacities of member states affected by terrorism.
