Riyadh Hosts Middle East Sports Investment Forum

Following the success of the previous two editions in London and Milan in 2024, the third edition of the Middle East Sports Investment Forum (MESIF) was held yesterday at the Ministry of Investment headquarters in Riyadh, in partnership with the Ministry of Sport and EY.
 At the start of the forum, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih underscored the pivotal role of sports in the global economy. He stressed that Saudi Vision 2030 is paving the way for a promising future in the sports sector by attracting quality investments, global expertise, and talent, while adopting modern technologies and leveraging the sector's substantial growth potential. Al-Falih also highlighted the Kingdom's hosting of numerous major global sporting events, culminating in Saudi Arabia's historic victory in securing the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
 More than 120 global leaders, decision-makers, and sports professionals attended the forum to discuss sports investment, explore growth opportunities in the region, and strengthen strategic partnerships within the thriving Middle East sports sector.
 The forum provided a platform to exchange views on sports investment strategies, regional cooperation frameworks, and innovative solutions to sector challenges, focusing on opportunities for investors and the sector's role in driving regional economic growth.
 The forum's agenda featured panel discussions, keynote speeches, and dialogue sessions covering topics like Saudi Arabia's hosting of the 2034 World Cup, sports investment avenues, sports development in Saudi Arabia, and the development of sports clubs.
