Saudi Arabia Provides Dates to Over 28,000 Muslims in Nepal

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has begun implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ programs, including the luxury dates initiative in Nepal. The initiative, launched through the religious missions’ offices at the Saudi Embassy in Nepal, aims to support over 28,000 Muslims across the country.
 Saudi Ambassador to Nepal Saad Abu Haimed attended the launch ceremony alongside several prominent Nepalese officials. Seven tons of dates were distributed to various charities and Islamic centers during the event. Officials in attendance included Samim Ansari, Chairperson of the Muslim Commission in Nepal, and Khalid Siddiqui, a member of the Nepalese National Assembly.
