Kidana Enhances Power Networks in Holy Sites for 1447 AH Hajj Season

Kidana Development Company announced the completion of construction and development works on low- and medium-voltage networks in the holy sites, with a total capacity of 550 megavolt-amperes.

The project aims to support major development projects and additional areas designated for pilgrims’ accommodation sites, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals for strategic expansion and facility development.

This electrical power contributes to accommodating additional loads resulting from ongoing development works in the holy sites, ensuring efficient system operation and supplying all vital sites with the required energy.

This enhancement plays a pivotal role in gradually replacing kerosene stoves with electric stoves and enabling freon air-conditioning systems in pilgrims’ camps to ensure their readiness and full operational efficiency, providing suitable cooling temperatures for pilgrims’ comfort.

This step reflects Kidana’s commitment to leading the sustainable development of the holy sites by delivering integrated engineering solutions that enhance infrastructure efficiency and align with the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program.
