Extraordinary Arab League Council Session Commences to Confront Israel’s Decision to Reoccupy Gaza

The extraordinary session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent representatives began on Sunday at the Arab League's headquarters, at the request of Palestine and with the support of several Arab states.
The meeting aims to discuss ways to confront the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, review mechanisms for Arab and international action to counter those crimes, prevent their continuation, and pursue the perpetrators before international justice mechanisms.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is represented at the meeting by its Permanent Representative to the Arab League Abdulaziz Al-Matar.
The meeting is scheduled to issue a resolution expressing the Arab position rejecting the Israeli occupation government's announcement to reoccupy and take control of the Gaza Strip.
