The National Center for Palms and Dates (NCPD) is taking part in the first Al-Kharj Festival of Saudi Dates and Coffee to highlight the Kingdom's endeavors in nurturing palm trees and promoting their products.
According to the NCPD, Saudi Arabia is home to over 123,000 agricultural holdings, boasting more than 37 million palm trees that yield over 3 billion tons of dates annually.
Furthermore, the number of factories specializing in date products and manufacturing has exceeded 137.
