Saudi Arabia to Host 2026 World Endurance Championship

The Executive Director of the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation (SAEF), Fouad Ibrahim, and the Executive Director of Sports Events at the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), Abdulrahman Bakhsh, have received the Kingdom's hosting rights for the 2026 World Endurance Championship. The Kingdom's successful bid was confirmed in November 2023 during the FEI General Assembly.
This announcement was made today at the conclusion of the 2024 Endurance World Championship in Monpazier.
The Royal Commission for AlUla, in partnership with the Saudi Equestrian Federation, has a proven track record of successfully hosting international endurance events, including the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup, which has been held for five seasons. The 2024 edition saw participation from 51 countries.
This latest achievement marks another milestone in Saudi Arabia's growing reputation as a global equestrian hub. The Kingdom has previously hosted major equestrian events, such as the Longines Global Champions Tour and the Longines FEI Jumping and Dressage World Cup 2024, which were the first of their kind in the Middle East.
