Real Estate Innovations, Technologies Captivate Visitors on Last Day of Cityscape Global 2024
Cityscape Global 2024 continues its activities on its fourth and final day at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, with cutting-edge innovations in the real-estate sector captivating visitors.
Attendees at Cityscape Global, the world's largest real-estate event, have shown intense enthusiasm and passion for exploring the latest housing trends and technological innovations used in the real-estate sector through various platforms, notably the Technology Theater.
Technologies and innovations driven by artificial intelligence (AI) enhance the customer experience; elevate the quality of planning, designing, and implementing housing projects; and promote sustainability in urban development.
One of the standout pavilions at the event is by Real Estate General Authority (REGA), offering visitors the chance to discover innovative real-estate exhibits and modern trends in residential communities while learning about city humanization initiatives that reflect the future of life in the Kingdom.
Cityscape Global 2024, running from November 11 to 14, is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in collaboration with REGA and the Housing Program, part of Vision 2030.
The event is organized by Tahaluf, an alliance between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones (SAFCSP), the Events Investment Fund (EIF), and company Informa PLC.
The technologies showcased at REGA’s pavilion range from display screens to AI, aimed at building an informed real-estate community and a promising innovation-based future.
The pavilion highlights the latest trends and future opportunities through sustainable property technologies (PropTech), which open new horizons for real-estate planning, management, and marketing using innovative approaches, such as real-estate data analysis and virtual properties.
The authority’s pavilion showcases significant legislation that has led to the governance and regulation of the Saudi real-estate market. It displays the sector’s key achievements, including the issuance of more than 20 real-estate regulations designed to organize and increase the reliability of the Saudi real-estate sector, and the licensing of 57 electronic real-estate platforms to improve the credibility of real-estate advertisements and enhance the quality and efficiency of data in the sector.
Additionally, over 2 million real-estate units have been registered in the real-estate registry, contributing to the protection of ownership rights and documentation of real-estate transactions.
As part of its efforts to regulate transactions in the market and boost confidence in the residential and commercial real-estate sector, REGA has recorded over 11 million lease agreements through the EJAR network. To improve the quality of real-estate transactions, the authority has issued more than 60,000 licenses to real-estate brokers to conduct real-estate activities.
REGA has also granted licenses for over 77,000 units for off-plan sales and more than 140 projects valued at over SAR100 billion. Real-estate transactions since the start of 2024 have exceeded SAR630 billion, contributing to the development of urban communities in the Kingdom, enhancing the sector’s appeal, and solidifying Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global investment destination.
