Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen Participates in COP29

A delegation from the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), led by Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, is participating in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

 The conference, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, will run until November 22.

 SPDRY's participation underscores its active role in fostering close collaboration among development actors and joint efforts to achieve sustainable development goals and comprehensive growth.

 The program works with over 40 local, regional, and global partners, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to practical efforts in Yemen's development and reconstruction.

 SPDRY also focuses on providing clean and sustainable energy sources in the region to reduce carbon emissions and promote the use of renewable energy in essential projects.

 These initiatives are designed to enhance the quality of life for the people of Yemen while also making meaningful strides toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
