GACA Grants Delta Air Lines Authorization to Operate Atlanta-Riyadh Route

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted US-based Delta Air Lines a Foreign Air Operator Authorization under Part 129 of the aviation safety executive regulation, paving the way for the launch of its scheduled direct flights between Atlanta and Riyadh.

 The authorization is part of GACA's efforts to enhance the Kingdom's international air connectivity and enable global air carriers to enter the Saudi market, contributing to the competitiveness of the aviation sector, expanding the Kingdom's air connectivity network with international markets and destinations, and supporting tourism, business, and investment activity, in line with the objectives of the Aviation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
