
KFSHRC Showcases Biotech Leadership at BIO International Convention
The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) concluded its participation in the BIO International Convention 2025, held in Boston, US, as part of the Saudi pavilion showcasing the Kingdom’s growing biotechnology ecosystem.
During the event, the KFSHRC highlighted its pioneering experience in applying genomic technologies and developing genetic databases to advance healthcare innovation. The hospital also explored opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange with leading international institutions in the biotechnology sector.
Participation in BIO 2025, the world’s largest biotechnology conference, underscores the hospital’s commitment to medical innovation and to strengthening global partnerships in research and biotechnology. This effort aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Biotechnology Strategy.
KFSHRC was recently ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 15th globally among the top 250 academic healthcare institutions for 2025. It was also named the most valuable healthcare brand in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East by Brand Finance in 2024 and was listed among the world’s best smart hospitals for 2025 by Newsweek magazine.
