Red Crescent Teams Revive Pakistani Umrah Performer at Grand Mosque

Saudi Red Crescent Authority emergency and volunteer teams revived the pulse of a Pakistani Umrah performer in his fifties who collapsed at the Grand Mosque's Tawaf (circumambulation) area while performing Umrah on Friday.
The authority's command, control, and medical evacuation center received a report of an unconscious pilgrim, and upon arriving at the scene within two minutes, the teams found the pilgrim's pulse and breathing had stopped. They performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, utilizing a LUCAS chest compression device and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) available throughout the Grand Mosque. The pilgrim's pulse was restored, and he was subsequently transferred to a medical facility for further care.
