'Wrth' Reimagines Traditional Arts Through Gaming at Esports World Cup

The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) is participating in the Esports World Cup 2025 with an interactive pavilion that blends entertainment and knowledge. Its design caters to the new generation's passion for technology and gaming. Located at Boulevard Riyadh City in the capital, the pavilion is present for the second consecutive year, from July 7 to August 24.

The Wrth pavilion offers visitors a creative and interactive experience, showcasing new ways to integrate Saudi traditional arts into the world of esports. This is achieved through a carefully designed interactive journey comprising eight stations. The aim is to develop skills, strengthen connection to identity, and provide an opportunity for all community members to discover Saudi handicrafts in a contemporary style.

The experience stands as an unprecedented platform for understanding Saudi handicrafts within an esports environment. It seamlessly blends enjoyment with education, reintroducing traditional arts through innovative digital mediums. This unique harmony between past and future aligns perfectly with the aspirations of the new generation.
