KSrelief Clinics Provide Medical Services to 2,483 Refugees in Jordan's Zaatari Camp
During the first week of November, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics delivered medical services to 2,483 patients in Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan.
The general medicine clinic attended to 634 patients, providing necessary examinations and medications. The internal medicine clinic treated 122 patients suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma. The pediatric clinic received 285 children, while the emergency department treated 253 patients. Additionally, the dental clinic served 158 patients.
The women's clinic accommodated 214 women, and the ENT clinic saw 51 patients with conditions such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and middle ear infections. The eye clinic treated 59 patients, dispensing essential medications, and the heart clinic attended to 27 patients. The diagnostic radiology clinic received 51 patients, and the rehabilitation medicine clinic served 22 patients.
In total, 2,924 laboratory tests were conducted for 319 patients, and 144 X-rays were performed for 99 patients. Medications for chronic diseases were provided to 132 patients, while the physiotherapy department served 57 patients. The pharmacy recorded a total of 1,542 prescriptions.
