KAUST Launches Mathematics Competition to Discover National Talent
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) launched yesterday the KAUST Mathematics Competition (KMC), the first initiative of its kind in the Kingdom aimed at discovering and nurturing the most outstanding middle and high school students in mathematics.
The competition, which adheres to international standards in algebra, geometry, combinatorics, and number theory, provides participants with the opportunity to win valuable prizes and participate in the summer mathematics camp hosted by KAUST and the University of Cambridge in 2026. It also provides a direct track for joining KAUST's pre-university academic programs.
Registration will remain open until November 9, 2025. The regional round is scheduled for December 13 in several Saudi cities, while KAUST will host the final round from April 3 to 5, 2026.
The university invited eligible students, their parents, and both public and private schools to register and participate through its official website: https://academy.kaust.edu.sa/program/pre-university/kaust-mathematics-competition/.
