General Court of Audit, China’s National Audit Office Discuss Cooperation
President of the General Court of Audit Dr. Hussam Alangari and CEO of the Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors Abdullah Alshebeili today attended a meeting with China’s National Audit Office in Nanjing, during which they discussed aspects of cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two agencies in financial and compliance auditing, as well as performance auditing.
The meeting also addressed potential collaboration in professional capacity building, the development of methodologies and work manuals, and joint efforts within the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), of which both entities are members. The discussions took place within the framework of a memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides.
Following the meeting, Alangari visited Nanjing Audit University and the National Audit Academy affiliated with China’s National Audit Office.
The visit comes as part of efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation between the General Court of Audit and its regional and international counterparts, and to share the Kingdom’s distinguished professional expertise in auditing.
