Saudi Arabia Ranked Third Globally in AI Models and Hiring Rates

Saudi Arabia ranked third globally in leading artificial intelligence models and in the hiring rates of AI-related jobs, according to the 2025 AI Index by Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). The Kingdom follows the United States and China in language model leadership, and India and Brazil in AI job growth rates.

 This ranking highlights the Kingdom’s significant progress across multiple areas of the Stanford AI Index, placing it among the top ten countries globally in AI. It also underscores Saudi Arabia’s growing leadership in advanced technologies, driven by the efforts of the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) and supported by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to position the country as a leading global economy in data and AI.
