KSGAAL Launches 'Arabic Language Computing Standards Package'

 King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) launched its "Arabic language computing standards package" during a panel discussion held today at the academy’s headquarters in Riyadh.

 The package seeks to establish a unified scientific foundation for Arabic language computing quality and to harmonize Arabic standards with international ones, ensuring alignment with globally recognized best practices.

 It seeks to enhance the quality of linguistic data and resources, support the development of Arabic digital applications and platforms, and promote integration between technical and academic entities.

 The document contains six key tracks, covering standards for Arabic computing, digital platforms for Arabic language learning, linguistic corpora and tagging, and the development of general and specialized digital dictionaries.
