Al-Baha Winter Festival: Key Tourist Destination for Visitors and Residents
The Tihama sector of Al-Baha Region is finalizing preparations for the Al-Baha Winter Festival 2025, featuring over 250 events organized by more than 40 governmental and private entities. The festival aims to enhance the region's reputation as a key winter tourist destination.
In accordance with the directives of Governor of Al-Baha Region Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the municipalities have conducted 969 inspections of accommodations, rehabilitated over 33,000 square meters of green spaces, and maintained public parks and facilities.
The festival will kick off in early December across the Tihama sector and several governorates, and will continue until Ramadan. It will showcase a variety of activities, including tourism, heritage, and agriculture, inviting residents from across the Kingdom to enjoy the festivities.
In Al-Makhwah, a comprehensive entertainment program will feature rides, theatrical performances, concerts, and competitions. Al-Hajrah will host events such as horse races, camel milking competitions, and children’s festivals. Qilwah will present recreational, cultural, and educational activities, while Ghamid Al-Zanad will host a seasonal festival promoting local crafts, workshops, and new investment opportunities.
Overall, the Baha Winter Festival aims to boost tourism and the economy, engage the local community, and encourage sustainable tourism development and investment in the region.
