Industry Ministry Establishes Non-Profit Date Manufacturers Association

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has established a non-profit date manufacturers' association to develop the date industry sector and its products. This initiative underscores the ministry's recognition of the non-profit sector's importance in economic and social progress within the Kingdom and its commitment to empowering such organizations in industry and mining.
 The association will drive industrial innovation in date production, promote manufacturers' adherence to the highest quality and safety standards, aligning with global best practice, and encourage sector investment. It will also support local products and raise awareness of their health, nutritive, and economic benefits. Additionally, the association will empower date exports and offer technical and marketing support to improve international market reach.
 The establishment of this association is part of the ministry's efforts to bolster the non-profit sector's sustainability and influence in industry and mining, thereby increasing direct contribution to the national GDP, in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
