GEA Chairman Announces Opening of Riyadh Season 2025 amid Massive Public Attendance

The capital city of Riyadh today witnessed the launch of Riyadh Season 2025 through a grand opening parade held between Kingdom Arena and Boulevard World (BLVD World), drawing a massive public turnout that marked the beginning of a new season rich in cultural and artistic diversity.

 General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Board Chairman and Advisor Turki Alalshikh announced the opening of the season and expressed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their unlimited support to the entertainment sector in the Kingdom.

 The parade, broadcast live on at least 12 television channels and media platforms, featured international shows with the participation of local and global troupes, in addition to dozens of giant balloons from New York— presented for the first time in the Kingdom in collaboration with one of the world's leading American companies specializing in festive performances.

 The sky of Riyadh was adorned at the end of the parade with colored smoke effects bearing the season's logo colors, adding an atmosphere of joy and excitement as spectators interacted with the live artistic performances and creative floats that combined music and creativity in an exceptional experience reflecting the spirit of the season and the passion of its audience.

 The parade marks the grand launch of Riyadh Season 2025, a diverse lineup of world-class events and experiences that will continue over the coming months, further solidifying Riyadh's position as a leading global entertainment destination and one of the foremost cities blending authenticity with innovation in the international events industry.
