
Saudi Paragliding Federation Holds Elite Training Camp in Türkiye, Competes in Paragliding Accuracy World Cup
The Saudi Paragliding Federation organized an intensive training camp for its elite athletes in Alanya, Türkiye, as part of its strategic plan to develop player skills and enhance readiness for international competitions.
Supervised by coach Gendon Subandono, the camp marks a key milestone in the federation's comprehensive preparation program to enable the national team to compete at the highest levels and achieve outstanding results.
Following the camp, the elite players participated in the Paragliding Accuracy World Cup, one of the premier international championships organized by the World Air Sports Federation (FAI), which draws top paragliding champions worldwide.
Saudi Paragliding Federation Executive Director Majed Oun emphasized the federation's commitment to promoting women's participation in paragliding, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals. He highlighted ongoing efforts to provide a qualified training environment that supports the integration and empowerment of women in the sport, locally and internationally.
These initiatives reflect the federation's broader commitment to developing paragliding in the Kingdom and representing Saudi Arabia on the global stage.
