Health Ministry Warns Pilgrims about Sun Exposure, Stresses Adherence to Health Instructions

The Ministry of Health has warned pilgrims to adhere strictly to all health instructions and advice. Pilgrims are advised to avoid going out and exposing themselves to sunlight, walking on hot surfaces, or touching them while performing their rituals in Mina and during the ritual of stoning the devil. This advice is to prevent sunstroke and heat exhaustion.

The ministry also warned of the dangers of sun exposure, especially during peak hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year's Hajj season coincides with high temperatures in the holy sites, and prolonged exposure to the sun poses a significant risk to pilgrims' health.

According to the ministry, pilgrims should always carry an umbrella to protect themselves from the sun, drink enough water throughout the day regardless of whether they are thirsty or not, and follow all health regulations.
