ETEC Obtains Full Membership in Seoul Accord for Computer and Information Technology Programs in University Education

The Education and Training Evaluation Commission, represented by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Accreditation (Etimad), has achieved full membership in the Seoul Accord for the year 2024.
This achievement follows the final visit made by the accord's secretariat to review the accreditation processes for university programs in computers and information technology in the Kingdom.
It is a significant milestone that demonstrates the confidence of prominent university education quality assurance organizations in the Kingdom's quality and standards. It affirms the excellence of the Saudi model in ensuring and controlling the quality of education on an international scale.
The Seoul Accord serves as an international benchmark for academic accreditation and recognition of computer and information technology degrees in university education. It establishes specific controls and requirements for graduate specifications and promotes education based on outcomes.
Etimad received approval for full membership following the unanimous vote of nine countries during the general meeting of the Seoul Accord members in Delhi, India, on June 15, 2024.
