Family Affairs Council Concludes Forum on Family Counseling

The seventh edition of the Family Forum, titled "Family counseling: Building power from within in a changing world," concluded after two days under the patronage of Human Resources and Social Development Minister and Family Affairs Council Chairman Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi. Leaders, decision-makers, and elite experts and specialists in social and family affairs attended the event.

 The forum opened with the launch of the family guidance strategy, followed by a dialogue session moderated by Family Affairs Council Secretary-General Dr. Maimoonah Al Khalil, in which Al-Rajhi and Education Minister Yousef Al-Benyan participated.

 Al-Rajhi emphasized the strategy's contributions to helping families navigate challenges in light of rapid changes.

 Al-Benyan highlighted the importance of partnership between families and schools, noting the Education Ministry's efforts to empower students.

 Four specialized workshops were held within the forum, aimed at developing the skills of family members, interested persons, and practitioners in family counseling. The forum culminated in the signing of an MoU between the Family Affairs Council and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to enhance cooperation in family support and stabilization.
