Arab Parliament Welcomes San Marino's Recognition of Palestine

The Arab Parliament has welcomed the Republic of San Marino's decision to recognize the State of Palestine officially. The parliament emphasized that this "historic decision" represents a significant step toward international recognition of the Palestinian people's right to establish their independent, sovereign state and embodies solidarity with their just struggle for freedom.

Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohamed Alyammahi called on the international community to build upon this momentum by accelerating the comprehensive recognition of the State of Palestine. He urged other nations, particularly European countries that have not yet done so, to follow this "just and courageous path." This, he asserted, will strengthen efforts to end the Israeli occupation, stop the "crimes of genocide," and ultimately lead to a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, ending decades of suffering for the Palestinian people.
