Saudi Arabia's Formula 4 Championship: Fueling the Future of Motorsport
The 2025 Formula 4 (F4) Saudi Arabian Championship will feature five rounds as part of a single-seater racing series for beginners, certified by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and overseen by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF). Scheduled for the Bahrain International Circuit and the Jeddah Corniche Circuit from October to December, this season underscores the Kingdom's commitment to developing grassroots motorsport talent and enhancing its international presence.
Launched in 2024, Formula 4 serves as a strategic platform for mentoring Saudi and international drivers. The championship will feature 20 drivers competing in identical Tatuus Abarth F4 G2 (T421) cars, ensuring a focus on skill and performance.
As the first FIA-certified single-seater series in the Kingdom, the F4 championship offers a professional entry point for drivers aged 15 and above, offering a pathway to Formula 3 and beyond. It also creates career opportunities in engineering, mechanics, and race management, contributing to a robust motorsports ecosystem.
The 2025 season kicks off at the Bahrain International Circuit with a testing day on October 10, followed by races from October 11 to 12 and October 15 to 16. The championship will then host three rounds at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on November 10-11 and November 14-15, concluding on December 5-6.
