Saudi Arabia Excels in the WIPO Pulse Report 2025

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia achieved a new international milestone by ranking among the top performers in the Global intellectual property perception survey 2025 (WIPO Pulse), issued by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which surveyed 35,500 participants from 74 countries to assess public awareness of intellectual property and its economic and social impact.

The Kingdom ranked among the highest globally in awareness of the role of intellectual property in supporting the economy, with national awareness of its impact on economic growth and innovation reaching approximately 80%, placing it at the top of this global indicator.

Saudi Arabia also recorded notable growth in youth and women’s awareness of intellectual property rights, making it a leading contributor to raising the average performance of countries in the Asia-Pacific region in this area.

This advanced performance reflects the efforts of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property to enhance public awareness of and respect for intellectual property rights, as well as to expand national initiatives aimed at improving compliance and reducing violations. These measures have helped strengthen consumer confidence in original products and underscore the societal value of intellectual property rights.
