Brightest Saudi & Regional Minds to Speak at Global IoT Congress 2025 in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is set to host one of the region’s most consequential technology gatherings and the only dedicated IoT conference in the MENA region, as the Global IoT Congress 2025 convenes from 21–23 October in Riyadh. It is organized by the Saudi Internet of Things Association (IoTA) and backed by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), under the patronage of H. E. Haytham AlOhali, acting governor of the CST.

The three-day event is all set to unite the Kingdom’s foremost government leaders, technology visionaries, and academic experts under one roof, each driving Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation agenda forward, which is an important pillar of the country’s Vision 2030.

Various sectors of the Kingdom will be out in force to share how IoT is enabling smarter business, transportation, and city infrastructure.

Among the most prominent speakers are from the Transport General Authority, highlighting IoT’s role in sustainable and data-driven mobility. Shedding light on how national policies are steering responsible AI-IoT integration will be speakers from SDAIA. The Ministry of Hajj & Umrah will discuss how connected technologies are optimizing pilgrim experiences and crowd management.

These sessions emphasize that Saudi Arabia’s IoT landscape is not just evolving through corporate innovation, but through direct government enablement and cross-sector regulation.

At the heart of the Congress are the major technology sponsors shaping Saudi Arabia’s digital future. iot squared, a joint venture between STC Group and PIF, will be represented by an impressive leadership lineup whose sessions will span industrial IoT, digital transformation, and cybersecurity. Saudi Paramount Computer Systems (SPCS) brings a deep local perspective on enterprise integration through its speakers. Speakers from channels by stc will share insights into smart commerce and service innovation in one of the Kingdom’s largest customer ecosystems, and IoTech KSA will address practical IoT platforms that power real-world customer experience.

These organizations will exemplify how Saudi enterprises are adopting IoT fast but also exporting expertise to global markets, reflecting the Kingdom’s ambition to lead in Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

IoTA’s own leadership will play a central role, with Eng. Abdullah Salem Al-Badawi, Chairman of the Board, opening the Congress.

Complementing them are a plethora of academic voices shaping the next generation of IoT innovators such as ones from Taibah University and Alfaisal University. Their participation underscores IoTA’s mandate to fuse research, entrepreneurship, and industry into a cohesive national IoT ecosystem.

Across three thematic days, more than 70 speakers will explore applications from industrial automation and smart transportation to Hajj & Umrah, cybersecurity, and AI integration. Dedicated exhibition zones will feature start-ups, demonstration labs, and vendor showcases, offering investors and enterprises hands-on exposure to the technologies driving Saudi Arabia’s next wave of digital competitiveness.

The depth of participation from both government and private sector signals the Congress’s growing influence as the definitive platform for regional and national IoT collaboration. It represents how Saudi Arabia’s vision for a knowledge-based economy is materializing, where innovation is not theoretical but translated into policies, platforms, and partnerships that improve lives.

Registration is now open for both individual attendees and corporate exhibitors and one can visit the website https://www.globaliotcongress.com/ to learn more or register their interest in attending or being a sponsor.
