King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered professional toolkits on Thursday to beneficiaries of the vocational empowerment project aimed at improving livelihoods in the coastal and valley districts of Hadhramaut Governorate.

The project targeted 275 individuals in Hadhramaut, who received vocational training in fields such as commerce, decoration and gypsum work, boat maintenance, home appliance repair, automotive and motorcycle maintenance, air conditioning and refrigeration, electricity and solar energy, men's tailoring, beekeeping and honey production, as well as photography and video editing.

Assistant Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Youth Affairs Fahmi Badawi emphasized the importance of the project in enhancing youth skills and capacities and creating job opportunities that will help improve their living standards and those of their families.

He expressed deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for its various relief, humanitarian, and development projects in his country.

The project targets 1,500 young men and women across various Yemeni governorates. It includes vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, and small business management, in addition to providing professional toolkits to enable participants to launch their own projects and build a professional future.

This comes as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, represented by KSrelief, to support economic recovery, improve the income of the most vulnerable groups in Yemeni society, and contribute to sustainable development.
