Islamic Affairs Ministry Receives ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by Agency for Planning and Digital Transformation, has received ISO 9001:2015 international quality certification. The certification recognizes the implementation of quality management system standards that comply with international requirements and specifications in strategic planning, quality management, performance measurement, continuous improvement, documented information management, and beneficiary experience measurement (IAF:35).
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for Planning and Digital Transformation Engineer Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Thunayan said obtaining the ISO certification represents the culmination of the ministry's efforts. It also reflects its commitment to adopting best practices and international standards in quality management and enhancing operational efficiency.
He explained that implementing the quality management system has strengthened institutional work methodologies, standardized procedures, improved operational efficiency, and supported performance measurement and continuous improvement. It has also enhanced documented information management and beneficiary experience measurement. These efforts improve service quality and increase beneficiary satisfaction.
