Comprehensive Health Preparedness to Serve Pilgrims at King Abdulaziz International Airport

Health authorities in Jeddah have intensified ground-level efforts at King Abdulaziz International Airport to provide comprehensive care for arriving pilgrims as part of the 1447 AH Hajj season, with operational plans by the Second Jeddah Health Cluster including enhanced medical readiness and deployment of qualified teams to ensure rapid response and efficient preventive and treatment services.
Services include immediate health screenings, verification of requirements, and administration of vaccines and preventive treatments to reduce the spread of infectious diseases. Medical teams operate around the clock at the Hajj terminals.
Jeddah hospitals complement airport services by handling advanced and emergency cases, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Enhanced facilities at Hajj terminals aim to improve capacity and provide a safe, healthy environment for pilgrims upon arrival.
