KSrelief Implements 4 Volunteer Medical Projects to Combat Blindness in Pakistan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Monday implemented four medical projects as part of the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The projects were implemented in the cities of Karachi, Sukkur, Kandiaro, and Kharan from April 15 to May 12.
The team examined 18,056 individuals, provided 3,816 corrective eyeglasses, distributed medications and treatments for eye diseases, and conducted 1,633 specialized surgical operations.
The program comes as part of the efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the medical sector and assist patients suffering from eye diseases in sisterly and friendly countries.
