Tabuk Olive Farms and Mills Gear Up for 2026 Harvest Season

Olive farms and mills in Tabuk Region are gearing up for the 2026 harvest and production season. This agricultural and economic activity encompasses the entire process, from harvesting the fruit and extracting oil to preparing products for the market, leveraging the region’s natural and agricultural advantages, which have established it as a prominent hub for olive production in the Kingdom.

According to data from the local branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the area now has over 1.5 million olive trees. The branch estimates a harvest of approximately 94,000 tons of olives, with a projected yield of more than 12,250 tons of olive oil.

Olive mills serve as a key link in the production chain. Following the harvest, olives are brought to these facilities for sorting, cleaning, and pressing to extract the oil, which is then packaged and stored.

Local markets, direct retail outlets, and agricultural festivals serve as vital channels for showcasing farmers' products, introducing them to the public, and offering consumers a diverse range of olives and olive oil, increasing the harvest's economic value and expanding marketing opportunities.

Tabuk's olive season exemplifies the link between agricultural production, processing industries, and marketing activities. Government initiatives support this by empowering farmers, increasing the agricultural sector’s contribution to the local economy, and promoting sustainability.
