KSrelief Distributes Vocational Toolkits to Trainees in Yemen's Hadhramaut
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday began distributing vocational toolkits to 381 young men and women who recently completed a training program in the Al Mukalla District of Yemen’s Hadhramaut Governorate.
The effort is part of a joint project with the UN World Food Programme (WFP) to support vulnerable families with food aid and enhance their resilience.
The project provided training in fields such as electrical and solar installations; maintenance of motorcycles, boats, and car electrical systems; production of cheese, dairy, detergents, and soap; fish canning; and the creation of incense, perfume, and accessories.
Hadhramaut Governorate Undersecretary for Technical Affairs Eng. Amin Barzeq expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and KSrelief for their humanitarian and relief projects across all Yemeni governorates. He also affirmed the local authorities' commitment to providing all the necessary support to ensure the success of these initiatives.
The initiative is an extension of the Kingdom's humanitarian role, represented by KSrelief, to improve the economic situation and enhance the income of the most vulnerable Yemenis, thereby achieving sustainable development.
