Hajj Ministry Achieves Smooth Pilgrim Dispatching to Arafat

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the successful execution of the pilgrim dispatching plan to Arafat, which commenced at dawn on Dhu Al-Hijjah 9. This year's plan is a significant project based on a unified operational model linking service and regulatory agencies via the dispatching and joint operations center.

Operations, executed with strict timetables using buses and trains, close field monitoring, and robust security, ensured smooth traffic flow to Arafat and seamless pilgrim distribution to camps without significant congestion. These efforts are part of an integrated dispatching strategy developed by the ministry, incorporating pre-simulation experiments for scenario anticipation, field team readiness, and agency coordination.

Crucially, artificial intelligence analyzed real-time data to predict dense locations, enabling flexible crowd redirection. A 24-hour monitoring and control center, equipped with smart cameras linked to a central system, supported immediate decision-making in coordination with security and service agencies. The digital Nusuk Card further enhanced punctuality and pilgrim movement by linking to Nusuk and Tawakkalna platforms and utilizing a unified response code for tracking entry and exit.

The successful dispatching to Arafat signifies efficient early planning and field integration, paving the way for smooth execution of subsequent rituals, including movement to Muzdalifah and Jamarat stoning in Mina. This aligns with the sustainable operational system of the Pilgrim Experience Program, a key initiative under Saudi Vision 2030.
