
On Behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince Receives Eid Al-Adha Well-Wishers at Mina Palace
On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received today Eid Al-Adha well-wishers at the Royal Court in Mina Palace.
The reception was attended by Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, several princes, the grand mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, senior scholars and sheikhs, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) senior officials, ministers, and the commanders of the military sectors and scouts participating in this year's Hajj.
The reception began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, delivered a speech on this occasion in which he said:
In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful. Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
Brothers, leaders of the military and security sectors, and their personnel.
Dear attendees, may the peace, blessings, and mercy of Allah be upon you.
On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, I wish to congratulate you, our citizens, residents, and the pilgrims on the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
We implore Allah Almighty to return this blessed occasion to our nation and to Muslims around the world with continued goodness, prosperity, and peace.
The continued success we witness today in serving pilgrims is the result of the efforts of our blessed state in serving the Two Holy Mosques, the holy sites, and their visitors.
We will continue to exert every effort to provide comfort to the pilgrims.
We commend the continuous efforts made by you, those working across various government sectors, and the male and female volunteers in implementing the state's policies to enable pilgrims to complete their rituals in security and tranquility.
We ask Allah Almighty to continue blessing us with security and safety, and to grant us success in continuing to perform this great duty to the fullest extent possible.
May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
The director of Public Security and chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, Lieutenant General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, delivered a speech on behalf of the military sectors participating in the Hajj. He highlighted the government's financial capabilities, human resources, and technical equipment to serve the pilgrims, paying the utmost attention to the Grand Mosque and its visitors.
Lieutenant General Al-Bassami expressed the pride and honor felt by the participants in implementing the Hajj security plans, numbering 213,323 from the security and military sectors, and their participation in implementing the directives of the leadership to facilitate the performance of the Hajj rituals in safety and security, relying on the help of Allah and fortified by their professional capabilities, field experience, and knowledge gained from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision, led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, making serving the pilgrims one of their most important priorities and noble goals.
Lieutenant General Al-Bassami pointed out that the successes achieved by the Hajj security plans to date are the result of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the unlimited support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for the continuous improvement of service to the pilgrims. He highlighted the supervision and follow-up of the minister of interior and chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee over the preparation and implementation of Hajj security plans, as well as the integration of roles among all participating entities.
All plans are built on precise foundations and clear responsibilities, supported by an advanced operations center that plays a significant role in managing the security and service system, the general said. The center utilizes advanced technologies and modern surveillance systems, making immediate decisions through data analysis and risk assessment to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims.
The director of Public Security noted the support the Hajj security plans have received from the governor of Makkah Region, the chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, the deputy governor of Makkah Region, the governor of Madinah Region, and the chairman of the Hajj and Visit Committee in enhancing the performance and organization of Hajj indicators, which aim to raise the quality of services provided to the pilgrims.
