Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Umrah Praise Madinah's Historical Sites as a Cultural and Civilizational Heritage
Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visitation commended the cultural programs organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. These initiatives include visits to significant historical sites in Madinah associated with the Prophet’s biography, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving and promoting these landmarks as part of its cultural and civilizational heritage.
In press statements made during their visits, the guests highlighted that these programs demonstrate Saudi Arabia’s dedication to ensuring the sites are accessible, safe, and maintained to the highest standards. They also praised the Kingdom’s efforts to promote Islam’s message of tolerance while fostering an appreciation for its historical and spiritual legacy.
The second group of guests, consisting of 250 pilgrims from 14 European countries—including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Austria, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Sweden—expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit these sacred locations.
This program underscores Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in supporting Muslims worldwide and preserving Madinah’s rich Islamic heritage, enhancing the spiritual experience of pilgrims and visitors alike.
