Grand Mosque Receives Over 3,000,000 Worshippers on 22nd Night of Ramadan

The Grand Mosque in Makkah witnessed a massive influx of worshippers yesterday, as more than three million visitors and Umrah performers gathered to observe the last 10 nights of Ramadan and seek the blessings of Laylat Al-Qadr (Night of Decree).
 According to the General Presidency for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the total number of visitors who visited the Grand Mosque on the 22nd of Ramadan reached 3,101,140. The number of worshippers attending Fajr prayer was recorded at 592,103, while 518,090 attended Dhuhr, 547,695 attended Asr, 710,524 attended Maghrib, and 732,728 gathered for Isha and Taraweeh prayers. The presidency also reported that 40,540 individuals benefited from vehicle services designed to facilitate movement within the mosque.
 The total number of Umrah performers entering through the main gates reached 662,507. King Abdulaziz Gate (1) saw the highest number of entries with 235,810 Umrah performers, followed by King Fahd Gate (79) with 172,771. Al-Umrah Gate (40) recorded 111,421 entries, while Al-Hudaibiyah Gate (33) saw 69,596, and Al-Salam Gate (17) welcomed 32,369.
