Human Resources Ministry Implements Integrated Hajj Plan

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has launched its seasonal plan for Hajj 1446 AH, featuring a range of regulatory, supervisory, and social initiatives that accompany pilgrims from their arrival at the holy sites until their departure. The plan aims to enhance the overall experience of the pilgrims by delivering integrated, high-quality services.

Assistant Minister for Shared Services of the Human Resources Ministry Ismail Al-Ghamdi noted that the ministry began early preparations by developing a comprehensive operational plan in coordination with relevant entities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery during the Hajj season.

The ministry's activities include welcoming pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah, as well as at border crossings in Tabuk, Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Najran regions. Volunteer teams provide hospitality, guidance, and on-the-ground support, particularly to the elderly and people with disabilities.

To support pilgrims with disabilities, the ministry also activated several digital platforms offering services such as sign language interpretation, visual assistance, accessible location mapping, emergency support, and family counseling.

Furthermore, the Ajeer platform facilitated matching job seekers with temporary opportunities at establishments serving pilgrims. Private childcare centers in Makkah and Madinah confirmed their readiness to care for the children of pilgrims and workers, providing a safe and nurturing environment under the supervision of qualified staff to allow families to perform rituals with peace of mind.
