Formula E to Introduce PIT BOOST Energy Enhancement for First Time in Jeddah Race

Formula E announced the launch of the PIT BOOST energy enhancement feature for the first time, adding excitement and intensity to the upcoming Formula E race. The event is scheduled to be held for the first time at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the fastest street circuit in the world, on February 14 and 15.

 The new PIT BOOST feature offers a 10% energy increase (3.85kWh) for race cars but requires a 30-second pit stop for rapid recharging at 600 kilowatts. Drivers and teams will need to strategically balance the benefits of this new feature against the risk of losing track position during the pit stop. Timing the perfect moment to enter the pit lane will be crucial, adding another layer of thrill and unpredictability to the race.
