KSGAAL Launches ‘Arabic Language Month’ in Italy
The "Arabic Language Month" program, implemented by the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), was launched today in Italy and will run until September 30. The initiative is part of the academy’s efforts to support the Arabic language, promote its teaching to non-native speakers, and strengthen knowledge cooperation between the Kingdom and international educational institutions.
KSGAAL Secretary-General Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi said that holding the program in Italy reflects the academy’s mission to promote the Arabic language and expand its presence in international academic institutions, while fostering engagement with non-Arabic-speaking communities. He expressed appreciation for the support of the Kingdom’s embassy in Italy for the academy’s programs and activities.
Organized in partnership with Sapienza University of Rome and the Catholic University of Milan, the program targets students, teachers, and non-Arabic-speaking audiences with a range of academic and training activities. The month-long agenda includes a scientific competition, specialized seminars, intensive language courses, discussion groups, cultural and scientific visits, the administration of the “Hamza” academic test, and the honoring of outstanding participants at the closing ceremony.
