King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) supplied more than 1.3 million liters of safe drinking water to displaced and affected communities in Yemen's Lahj, Taiz, and Aden governorates. The assistance is part of emergency response projects aimed at ensuring access to drinking water for displaced people and affected families.
The distributions included 417,480 liters of water supplied to five camps in Lahj Governorate and 336,675 liters to Tuban and Al-Musaymir districts in the same governorate. Another 313,200 liters were supplied to Al-Mudhaffar District in Taiz Governorate, while 255,000 liters were delivered to Al-Firdous (2) Camp in Al-Buraiqah District in Aden. The water was distributed through 58 distribution points to meet the needs of displaced people, host communities, and affected populations.
These efforts are part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian and relief projects implemented through KSrelief. They aim to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people amid the humanitarian crisis, improve their living conditions, and enhance access to safe drinking water across Yemen.
