KSrelief Provides Humanitarian Support to Displaced Family in Central Gaza
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) responded yesterday to a humanitarian appeal from a displaced Palestinian living in central Gaza, who issued a distress call requesting a tent to shelter himself and his children. The family, whose children suffer from various illnesses, had been living in inadequate shelter conditions. This assistance comes as part of the Saudi popular campaign to aid the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Field teams from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, the implementing partner of KSrelief in the Gaza Strip, headed to the family's location, where a tent was set up at an appropriate site to provide shelter and protect the family from harsh and fluctuating weather conditions. The support also included essential daily supplies, food baskets, and winter clothing for the children.
The family expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this generous humanitarian support, which provided them with genuine relief amid extremely difficult circumstances and conveyed a message of hope that the Kingdom has been, and continues to be, present by their side. They also extended their thanks to KSrelief for embodying the values of compassion and human solidarity at a time of urgent need.
This comes as part of the Kingdom's steadfast positions, through KSrelief, in supporting the Palestinian people amid various crises and hardships.
