Riyadh and Jeddah Set to Showcase Cultural, Tourism Strengths Ahead of AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026

Saudi Arabia will host the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 from January 6 to 24, 2026. The tournament features 16 national teams competing at key venues: Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, Al Shabab Club Stadium, Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium, and the reserve stadium at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Riyadh and Jeddah. Both cities offer an integrated experience for fans, highlighting their cultural and tourism significance.

 Riyadh combines historical sites like Diriyah and Al Masmak Palace with modern attractions such as Boulevard Riyadh City and ROSHN Front. These elements enhance urban living and infrastructure, making Riyadh an ideal location for matches and fan engagement.

 Jeddah is a vibrant cultural and tourism hub, featuring the historic Al-Balad district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The waterfront offers scenic views, while the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina provide luxury leisure experiences. The city's markets and seafood restaurants highlight its coastal identity alongside modern sports facilities.

 Hosting the tournament will boost tourism and cultural activities, providing a platform to showcase the cities’ unique identities and increase fan attendance.
