Saudi Arabia Works to Build Unified International Position to Enhance Security, Stability

Saudi Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Abdulaziz Alwasil affirmed that the Kingdom reiterates its firm stance condemning Iranian attacks, describing them as a clear violation of state sovereignty and a direct threat to regional and international security and stability.
 In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Alwasil said the Kingdom through its participation in United Nations deliberations including the Security Council and the General Assembly continues to stress the need to confront such violations, hold Iran accountable for escalation, and halt its destabilizing activities in the region.
 He noted that the Kingdom is continuously coordinating with UN member states and international partners to build a unified international position that enhances security and stability and mitigates threats targeting vital facilities and the safety of international navigation.
 Alwasil emphasized the importance of relying on evidence and facts to highlight the scale of these attacks, calling on the international community to adopt a firm stance that ensures respect for international law and the UN Charter and holds those responsible accountable.
 He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for all efforts aimed at de-escalation and peaceful solutions, stressing the need to stop interference in the affairs of states in order to achieve lasting security and stability in the region.
